Jayme Williams, Administrative Assistant & Surgical Coordinator to Dr. Owens

Jayme Williams is the Practice Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to Dr. Owens. She is a Rhode Island native and joined UOI in 2015. Jayme is the initial contact for most patients and will work with them to ensure a personalized approach. She was a standout soccer player at Bay View Academy and still competes recreationally, and understands the need of athletes to get back to sport quickly.

Anita is the Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Owens. She graduated from Rhode Island College in 2001 with a Bachelor degree in biology. She was captain of the gymnastics team and achieved All-American honors. She earned a Master of Science in physical education and athletic training in 2003. As a certified athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist, Anita has worked with athletes of all ages and ability levels at Tufts University and Boston Children’s Hospital, and lectures at area conferences. She has a passion for sports, health and wellness, and recreation, and is an avid triathlete and runner. In 2014, Anita earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions and was elected into the honor society of nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. She continues her career in orthopedics and sports medicine as a certified nurse practitioner. Anita holds professional memberships in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.


Kayleigh Sullivan, Medical Assistant and Research Assistant to Dr. Owens

Kayleigh Sullivan is the Medical Assistant and Research Assistant to Dr. Owens. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in May of 2016, and joined UOI in June of 2016. Kayleigh interacts with patients throughout each stage of their visit with Dr. Owens and helps them with any questions or concerns. Prior to her time at UOI, she worked in a free health clinic in Worcester, MA, and understands the necessity for effective communication between patient and practice.
