EPICONDYLITIS IS COMMON CONDITION
This epidemiologic study of lateral and epicondylitis in military population showed that females were at higher risk for lateral but not medial epicondylitis. Age greater than 40 was a significant risk factor for both conditions.
ARTHROSCOPIC RELEASE EFFECTIVE FOR LATERAL EPICONDYLITIS
One of the early reports on arthroscopic treatment of tennis elbow showed excellent results at 2 year follow up in 16 patients. Concurrent elbow joint pathology was noted in 19% of patients.
